We're counting down -- only a few days left until the Massey University Rocketry Boot Camp!
Here's some key information you will need to know. If we get any questions, we'll add them to this page.
If you haven't already - please ensure all TEACHERS and STUDENTS attending from your school are registered.
We'll provide everything you need to build and fly your rocket during the Boot Camp, as well as other useful resources you can take away with you. All we ask if that you bring what's needed to keep yourself fed and healthy over the two days:
* Teachers: We'll provide you lunch, but please bring your own If you have any special dietary requirements.
Parents, friends and family are welcome to come and watch you fly your rockets on Wednesday. We expect to start launching from around 10am.
On the second day, we plan to launch your rockets and see which team achieves the highest altitude.
Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we can't fly in high winds - and the rocket motors and electronics don't like rain :-/
If on Tuesday afternoon it's clear that the weather is not going to cooperate, we'll regrettably need to cancel the second day -- and hold the altitude contest at our first practice flight day on Sat 22 October.
Otherwise, we'll have a fantastic day seeing your rockets fly -- and your parents and friends are more than welcome to come along and watch!
